Sofina & Amici Golf Classic
In support of local charities, The Sofina Foundation proudly hosts an annual charity golf tournament, The Sofina & Amici Golf Classic. Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised close to $500,000 in support of the Women & Babies program at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In partnership with the Sunnybrook Foundation, the Sofina Foundation has made a multi-year, $1.5 million commitment to fund the entire Operative Birthing Unit which will house: two Operative Suites, one High Risk Operative Suite, a Maternal Recovery Room and a NICU Admissions Area. This wing will provide care to some of the most critically delivered babies in Ontario, thereby making a difference in the lives of members of our community for generations to come.
